Transcending

My intention with this work was to create a peaceful reflective mood with a muted colour palette.

Layering creams, blues and pinks, I used a low horizon and developed the sky area with many vertical and oblique brush strokes until I achieved what I considered was the right balance of colour and atmosphere.
