For me the making process is intuitive, and has a spiritual dimension in that I experience a loving connection with what it is to be creative and therefore alive. It’s also a celebration of the creativity of other humans – specifically, their motion and gestures; their performances of everyday life; and our shared memories of being and becoming … in the moment. What underlies this is love. And when my heart opens – sometimes it takes a lot for me to prise it open – I am moved by what it is to be human and to experience unconditional love.
