My art reflects the experiences of my journey of life. Much of it is dependent on repetition and memory like life itself. The eyes are said to be the window to the soul and so through my artist’s eyes I hope to reflect some of my inner self in the work and engage the curiosity of the viewer.
After graduating with a BSC in mathematics from Reading University and a scientific career, I was able to pursue my other love, art, and gained an MA in Fine Art from the University of Gloucestershire. For eleven years, I have been artist-in-residence in St Luke’s church in Cheltenham following a two year residency in the National Waterways Museum in Gloucester. My work has been exhibited locally in Gloucestershire and in the RWA. I am a voluntary tutor for the St Luke’s church art group which meets weekly.
